RIZO.world

DEVELOPMENT JOURNAL

From the
workshop.

What changed, and why.

A place around the game

Rizo now has a digital address: rizo.world. This public home explains what’s playable, how your pet saves, and where the physical brand lives.

The game still opens directly. Advertising stays off. We’re preparing its boundaries so a failed ad can never become a failed game.

The Threshold has a hand

A limited palette, flat shading, stable drawn wobble, hard little pools of light. Tape on a lantern. An odd sock. Places that have been used and repaired.

The art pass gives Latch, the Night Porter, the kidnappers, and each opening room their own silhouettes and evidence of life. Your Rizo still uses the same character art as the Den.

“Be good.”

The current Dungeon episode starts outside a store. Rizo waits. A van leaves. Rain keeps falling.

The separation is something you play through. Below, you can help Latch, choose whether to sit, and get your actual Rizo back to its familiar Den. The proof is a complete small journey; the full campaign remains in development.

The pet stays at the center

Training and game modes now have their own boundaries. They borrow a snapshot of your Rizo and return earned growth through the hub; they don’t write a second pet or wallet.

The save system keeps backups and old migration sources, protects against another tab overwriting your progress, and gives interrupted Defense and Dungeon runs a safe continuation.
